Alpha offers several evidence-based prescription medications for weight loss, including GLP-1 agonists and Semaglutide. They work by decreasing appetite, increasing feelings of fullness, or interfering with the absorption of fat. Prescriptions can also be sent to your local or preferred pharmacy. We do not prescribe controlled substances.

Pricing ranges from $25 to $1000+ per month and may be covered by insurance. Please note that prices may vary depending on your chosen pharmacy and location.

This depends on the medication you are taking. If you do not lose at least 5% of your starting body weight after 12 weeks on the full dose of your medication, your provider will work with you to discuss modifying your diet or treatment. Once you have lost enough weight to improve your health and haven’t had serious side effects, your provider will advise if you should continue or stop taking the medication.
